Those places that you SHOULD NOT MISS while you are in Samaná, here are the TOP TEN, but we assure you that there are many more:

1 Whales

Whale watching (from January to March), inside the Banco de la Plata Marine Mammal Sanctuary and Christmas. See in contacts the recommended companies and members of the CIRCUIT: MOTOMARINA and SAMANA WHALE.

2 EL LIMON WATERFALL

Salto de El Limón Natural Monument. We recommend that you arrive at a bus stop first so that you can coordinate the best way to visit it. We recommend PARADA LA
MANZANA.

3 DEVIL'S MOUTH

Inside the Cabo Samaná Natural Monument. You'll feel it in your heart. Before arriving, we recommend that you hire a GUIDE FROM THE ASSOCIATION OF THE GALLEYS (see contacts) and ask him to show you, in addition, the marble mine and take you along the Frontón path until you reach the beach that bears the same name.

4 ERMITAÑO BEACH

You can go by boat or by a trail from Playa Las Canas, it will depend on how much desire you have to have adventures.

5 FRONTON BEACH

Inside the Cabo Samaná Natural Monument. Don't forget to snorkel at this beach. We
recommend you go with a local guide, so you will know all the secrets of this place.
Wear water slippers and watch out for hedgehogs.

6 THE CHURCH

A prefabricated Protestant church brought from England, assembled in Santa Barbara de Samaná by the freed blacks of the southern United States, who chose Samaná to live and enjoy in freedom. A special place with a unique and wonderful history.

7 BRIDGE OF THE KEYS

Built by President Balaguer in the 70s, it has an extension of 700 meters... Spectacular
views and a wonderful experience.

8 THE HAITISES

A National Park with a wonderful natural wealth. Visiting its keys, its mangrove channels and the Bay of San Lorenzo by kayak is a must without a doubt. We recommend you to use the services of Kayak San Lorenzo. View contacts.

9 Caño Frio

A small river of fresh and crystal-clear water that flows into the beautiful waters of
Rincon Bay. Perfect for snorkeling.

10 VIEWPOINT OF PUNTA BALANDRA

A small trail, free of charge from where you can appreciate one of the best panoramic
views of Cayo Levantado, the Bay of Samaná and Los Haitises... On clear days. If you're
lucky, in whale season, you can even see them from the viewpoint. See the map, and
